I, on behalf of myself, family and teeming supporters, heartily congratulate the Delta State Governor elect “Rt Hon. Sheriff, Francis Orovwedor Oborevwori in the just concluded March 18th Governorship election.
Deltans voted massively to give you a clear and dear mandate to Governor them for the next four (4) years. It is a decision expressed in a very unambiguous and unmistakenbly terms, I commend Deltans and deserved praised for not only conducting themselves in an orderly manner, but ensuring their choice are expressed freely, fairly and unreservedly.
Your victory at the election has just restored our trust in the electorate that nothing good or bad, a public office holder does while holding a public is not noticed and rewarding to him. Your Good deeds in office as two tenured speaker and the longest serving speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly have paid off in your election as Governor elect of Delta State inspite of all political odds to stop it.
This your victory is a victory for all Deltans with hope and aspiration for a MORE better Delta State, given your antecedents, as one of the foremost PAN DELTAN of our time, your street credibility as one who have lived, interfered with the lowest and mightiest, your stering leadership qualities as recorded right from community, councillorship, State Executive and the Delta State house of Assembly as the longest serving speaker speaks volume of you and I am confident that you will excel in the discharged of the onerous mandate that has now being placed on your shoulder by Deltans.
Again, your victory of March 18th 2023, Governorship election in Delta State is Divinely ordained and a call to duty. It is my wish that with this victory comes the consolidation of the Eight years of massive infrastructural development and progressive policies of your predecessor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa (CON), administration deepening of the democratic process, advancement of social democracy and guaranteeing better life for all Deltans and the need to ensure that Delta State meets her responsibilities in the commit of other states in Nigeria as a leading light.
Going by the various speeches you have made since the declaration of the results of the state Gubernatorial elections and visit of various interest groups and stakeholders to you have already shown that you are ready to be the state unifer, you proved to be before the general elections and that the state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), did not make a mistake in presenting you, a man who is a bundle of respect, trustful, truthful and humility as their best for the election.
I wish you God’s guidance, strength, direction and the wisdom to deliver on your mandate to the people of Delta State.
